State Representative Jed Davis (R-Newark) was selected to serve on five House committees: Cities and Villages, Economic Opportunity and Equity, Mental Health, Small Business, Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Transportation: Rail Systems, Roads and Bridges.
Earlier this week, House Republican Leader Tony McCombie finalized committee appointments while Representatives were in Springfield for the first full week of session in the 103rd General Assembly.
“It is an honor to be appointed to these committees, and I look forward to working with other Representatives on these specific areas of legislation,” said Davis, “I hope we can come together from across the aisle to fix problems impacting the people of our state.”
Representative Davis has years of experience as a civil engineer and small business owner. He plans to bring his experiences to the table in these committees to make informed decisions that will help the people of Illinois.
Rep. Davis added, “To the people of House District 75, I encourage you to reach out to my office with suggestions and ideas about the work being done in these committees. I am here to serve you.”
Representative Davis has opened a new office in the 75th district, located at 1925 S Bridge St, Yorkville, IL 60560.
