Today, I spoke with Jerry, a veteran of the Korean War. He was awarded two Purple Hearts during his time in the Marine Corps for his bravery and sacrifice. It was an honor to speak with him about his time serving our country. After our conversation, Jerry was generous enough to gift me a Marine Corps plaque that I plan to proudly display in my District Office.
