Rep. Davis Celebrates IDNR Grants in House District 75

YORKVILLE- The Illinois Department of Natural Resources recently announced two grants that will affect land located in Illinois House District 75, represented by State Representative Jed Davis (R-Yorkville). In response to this news, Representative Davis released the following statement:

“I’m thrilled we’re receiving IDNR grants to improve and maintain our outdoor spaces,” said Rep. Davis. “Our area has many incredible outdoor sites, attracting thousands of tourists and area residents each year. These grants, specifically for off-highway vehicle recreation, will allow more members of our community and state to enjoy all District 75 offers.”

The district was awarded $158,400 to the Illinois Association of Snowmobile Clubs, for snowmobile maintenance and operations, and $612,000 for the acquisition of The Cliffs, a set of off-highway vehicle trails in LaSalle County.

Rep. Davis concluded, “Thank you to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources for this grant to both acquire and maintain off-highway vehicle trails. I look forward to our continued collaboration on future projects!”
