All local families are invited to join us for our fourth annual Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 20th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Silver Springs State Park – Loon Lake!
Father’s Day weekend is a great opportunity for families to make memories and enjoy time together outdoors. We’re excited to bring this event back with the help of incredible community partners.
The first 50 children in attendance will receive free rods and reels. Additional prizes and perks will be provided courtesy of Plano Molding and Plano Culver’s. Illinois Conservation Police will also be on-site providing fishing safety information and assisting participants with baiting hooks. No fishing license is required to participate.
