Summer Reading Program

As this is an exciting time while you approach summer vacation, you may be planning ahead for the long break! I am inviting you to join my Soar Into Reading Summer Reading Program. Reading is a fantastic way to connect to new worlds, travel through time, and see life through someone else’s eyes. You can also take these worlds with you—to the park, on vacation, and right at home.

To be a summer reader, Kindergarten through 5th graders must read 8 books during their summer vacation. Books for local library programs are also acceptable and books over 150 pages may count for two books.

All participants who read 8 books by the August 16, 2024 deadline will receive a certificate celebrating their achievement and a voucher for free ice cream!

After reading the books, students should have their parents complete the form below:

List the titles of the books you have read. Books with more than 150 pages may be listed twice and counted as two books.
